The Nunnery

Squeezed from soft warm, mayonnaise like brain of admin

Cool backpackers in Melbourne, about 10 mins from the CBD or 5 mins on a tram (theres a stop about 1/3 of a block to the CBD - it looks like a bus stop)

  1. They are pretty reasonably priced
  2. They provide breakfast (its quite cool really, I ate so much bread)
  3. they have double shared rooms, (like 1 room with a double bed, not shared with randoms) - and the rooms are quite cool, ours had a tv..
  4. Its clean and they look trustworthy
  5. The staff are pretty hot. but firm.
  6. Bathrooms are clean too
  7. General good vibe
  8. you get free entry or discounted entry to the local pool.

So in general Id give it a thums up.

    yeh thats a coo backpackers, I stayed there for the grandprix in 2007, they were about as much as all the other backpackers, but they were really nice, its a really nice backpackers.

    Id recommend them

    Hi,

    I too stayed at the Nunnery when I first moved to Melbourne. Very clean rooms and friendly people. Always something nice going on, its nice and close to the city. Feels very safe. I would recommend to people just visiting Melbourne not just backpackers.
