Popular post-work hangout for smart-suited city types but with emphasis on booze not business. Drinks range from 18 gins to a dozen martinis but try the Industrial Revolution - a glass lined with black Luxardo Sambucca, filled with Siberian vodka and confectioner’s ball bearings. Decor is mismatched chairs and colourful sofas, be it the main bar or the separate side room. But whatever your poison, the Palace provides.

Founded in 1880 offers a heritage building with two open fireplaces set in comfortable surroundings with an atmosphere of its’ own. It is extensively restored to its original 1880 condition, whilst creating the current garden setting. With it’s attractive old world appearance and homely atmosphere, the Inn blends itself into a pleasant rural setting that never fails to charm visitors. The pub itself is fantastic Very arty, grungy, smelly!! Perfect what more can you ask for, this is my kind of place!
