The Royal Cricketers Arms Hotel
Filed Under Bars, Food, Sydney | Leave a Comment
Founded in 1880 offers a heritage building with two open fireplaces set in comfortable surroundings with an atmosphere of its’ own. It is extensively restored to its original 1880 condition, whilst creating the current garden setting. With it’s attractive old world appearance and homely atmosphere, the Inn blends itself into a pleasant rural setting that never fails to charm visitors. The pub itself is fantastic Very arty, grungy, smelly!! Perfect what more can you ask for, this is my kind of place!

Featherdale Wildlife-Park
Filed Under Sydney, Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Featherdale boasts the world’s premier collection of Australian wildlife allowing visitors to get up close to over 2200 animals. You can cuddle up to a koala and hand feed kangaroos for free all day(only feeding though - there is an entry cost though, to the park I mean). The best part of the exhibit is The Extremely Large Alligator! I almost crapped my pants when I made the encounter! Fantastic collection of Australian only animals. $20 will get you in compared to Taronga Zoo which has a $40 entrance fee and exhibits animals from all over the world. Anyways if your interested in seeing just Australian animals this is the place to go!
Located at Blacktown, en route to the famous Blue Mountains, Featherdale is developing into one of the region’s leading attractions. Check out where it is located on Google Maps by clicking here!
